The right CleanShot X alternative depends on the part of CleanShot you actually use.

CleanShot’s current pricing page describes a Mac app with screenshots, screen recording, annotation tools, OCR-related support, and Cloud upload. Basic is listed at $35 as a one-time payment, with one year of updates and 1 GB of Cloud storage. Pro adds unlimited Cloud storage, custom branding, and team features, and the page lists it at $10 per user per month billed annually. CleanShot also says the app works without requiring Cloud; Cloud is used for screenshot uploading.
