We explain how to open it, retain or pin items, capture screenshots into it, batch-paste captures, and choose between the built-in feature and third-party clipboard managers. ## Opening and configuring clipboard history Press **Cmd+Shift+V** in any app. Clipboard history opens as a vertical list with previews; screenshots appear as thumbnails. Click an item to paste it, or use the arrow keys and **Return**.
