A sequence is more useful when you are: - **Documenting a multi-step flow:** Capture a five-screen onboarding flow, a multi-step checkout process, or a settings panel with several tabs. - **Reproducing bugs:** Capture every action in a sequence that triggers a bug so the reproduction path is clear. - **Recording state changes:** Capture before-and-after states during an animation, form submission, or data update. - **Comparing implementations:** Capture the same UI at different screen sizes, in different themes, or across branches. - **Building AI context:** Give Claude or Cursor the full picture by pasting multiple related screens. ## The macOS way: manual repetition With macOS built-in screenshot tools, you press **Cmd+Shift+4** repeatedly. Each capture is saved as a separate file on your Desktop, and you redraw the selection area every time. For a five-step flow, the process is: 1. Press **Cmd+Shift+4**, draw the selection, release, and wait for the thumbnail. 2. Navigate to the next screen. 3.
